Where is your main office?
Seeds for Africa is based at the University of Kent in Canterbury Kent, UK.

What percentage of donations is used for administration?
Small donations require minimal administration whereas donations for large projects require much more but our costs are kept very low as we have no office costs at all except for telephone. On average, our administration is around 9%

Which seeds do you send to Africa?
We do not send any seeds to Africa at all. Everything is sourced locally in Africa which helps generate extra business for the African economy.

Can I buy any of the African seeds?
No. We are unable to help with getting seeds into the UK.

How do you find the projects you fund?
We rely on our coordinators to find the large majority of our projects. We do have independent projects however, these are still subject to verification and monitoring visits by coordinators.

How do I know that my donation is going where it is meant to?
Our funding is paid directly to our delivery partners i.e. individual coordinators or groups who have to maintain suitable accounts and records.
